Delete an individual entry from Firefox's address bar 2

Ever get tired of the first result in your address bar dropdown for a given URL being a typo that goes to a 404? Well, you can delete just that entry, after all.

In Firefox, if you want to delete an individual entry from the History, just highlight it (either in the History sidebar or in the address bar drop-down) and press Shift+Delete.

If an entry is highlighted in the address bar dropdown, delete works fine, no shift required.

You can’t highlight something in the history sidebar. When you click it, it visits the entry and takes focus from the sidebar.

Thanks. This solved a problem for me. I found your site with a google search trying to get rid of a pesky line in my address bar. I like to type the first few letters of favorite websites, then arrow down to the full address and go. I kept landing on hte same error page, because it was at the top of the list. Was driving ne nuts.
